This Sunday, our group has been registered as volunteers with City2Surf ! The event often sends a donation to participating groups, so our attendance would help raise money for our Scout group! One of our Venturers will also participate in the race.

 

Meeting: Cabramatta Station at 4.45AM (MUST be on time to catch the 4.53AM train)

• Travel will be as a group unless you would like to meet us there. Driving and parking will be difficult as there are road closures for the race.

Role: Clothing Collection – 1^st Fairfield Heights Lac Hong Scout Group

Time: Sunday August 9, 6:00am – 11:00am (volunteers are free to go after this time).

Volunteers: 20+ from our Scout group. All parents are cordially invited to attend together with your kids as beside enjoying the race, we are also raising fund for our Scout group.  For Cubs, we kindly ask parents to attend and supervise your kids together with leaders. 

Location: Start Line – meet at the volunteer tent. Location for clothing collection is Kings Cross tunnel – Google maps pin: (https://maps.app.goo.gl/cKtWeEe7Zo9P2dQ78)

Please see below information provided by the organiser:

• Volunteers must be aged from 12+.
• Volunteers will receive a t-shirt to wear on the day and keep as a memento of the event.
• All volunteers must register on our portal (we will manually pass on the details), and will be covered by our insurances whilst onsite.
• You must wear closed-in shoes (running shoes are ideal).
• Please wear a hat, jacket, sunscreen, scarf (uniform is optional)
• Please bring a refillable water bottle.
• A snack pack will be provided in your volunteer pack, however please ensure you bring adequate food and drink for the duration of your shift.

 

Please register ASAP by 5pm this Wed 05/08/2026 to submit to the event organiser to ensure you receive a volunteer shirt.

Chủ Nhật này, 09/08/2026, Liên Đoàn chúng ta đăng ký giúp tại sự kiện City2Surf ở Sydney CBD. Nhà tổ chức sẽ hỗ trợ cho Liên Đoàn tính theo số người giúp từ 12 tuổi trở lên. Kính mời Quý Phụ Huynh và các em tham gia giúp để chúng ta vừa cùng có một ngày vui với cuộc thi chạy, vừa gây quỹ cho Liên Đoàn. Đối với các em Sói, Quý Phụ Huynh vui lòng sắp xếp đi theo để trông nom các em cùng các Trưởng. Một em Thanh của Liên Đoàn cũng tham gia chạy đợt này. 

Điểm khởi hành: tại Cabramatta lúc 4:45am (xin vui lòng đúng giờ dể cùng đi train lúc 4:53am lên Sydney CBD).

Công việc: giúp nhặt áo

Thời gian giúp: 6:00am - 11:00am.

Volunteer sẽ nhận được một áo kỷ niệm, một gói snack. Vui lòng mang giày kín, nón, suncreen, áo ấm, nước uống, khăn quàng(nhưng không bắt buộc mặc đồng phục).

Xin vui lòng đăng ký trễ nhất ngày Thứ Tư 05/08/2026 để nhà tổ chức sắp xếp đủ áo cho chúng ta.
